Why does everyone think Strong will be a great Recruiter?

You must've missed his eight-year stay with Florida as a defensive coordinator where he recruited a few, you might say, super-freaking-stars.

Give him the recruiting assets of Tennessee and see what happens. Luckily, I think we'll get a chance to do just that.

Ok, when they announced the UF gators, did they say Urban Meyers and his UF gators are national champions, or did they say Defensive Coordinator Charlie Strong with Urban Meyers and the UF gators?

I get your positive hopes, but I only see us being average on his best years at UT. That's it.

Did you look at Meyers classes at Utah?

Oh yes, the troubles associated with recruiting to UF. He is a superstar. Just look at their drop off in talent since he left.

And you are an idiot, as usual.

We are talking about Strong, not me. But of course, he is indefensible.

I know you have special needs, and can't comprehend most things, but I asked a simple question that you can't even begin to answer. Just go play in traffic. That may be more productive for you.

Yes, a question relevant to nothing.

Idiot.

Did you look at his first 1-2 years at UF? Look man, I don't get why everyone is getting militantly behind Strong when he has done nothing. Please quit making it sound like all the kids went to UF cuz strong was there, that is just soooo silly to me. If your not directly saying it, you surely are implying it. You know the kids went to play for Meyer at UF. Strong was recruiting for Meyer and UF. Seems like the more people just blindly fall in line with this hire the more I feel like I need to push them back. I thought we were bff's, but I think we are giong to have to agree to disagree. I think Strong will only take us as high as 7-8 wins period, and I don't think all the 4 and 5 star recruits are waiting on whether Strong stays at lousiville or not.....

Can we please wait for an actual hire before being complete tools to one another?

Oh I don't care about Indiana, I just wanted my thing to spell out tit. Again, glad you are aboard. I rooted for dooley for a while, don't want to see the samething happen again. How bout you fella McFriendly?

I personally dont see a Dooley comparison. Dooley had a losing resume before he came here and showed no proof that he was able to recruit. He did finish top 20 here but i believe that was more Tennessee recruiting itself.

I believe strong deserves a chance to prove himself. He may fail. Anybody that we are after may fail. This is the SEC, wins dont come easy. But i see him doing well here.

PS. I hated OSU the day i was born, just didnt realize it until years later :).

I still wonder if he was a good recruiter at FL and no where else.

People say he is a great recruiter, but can't get but a couple good recruits at LOU because its a hard place to recruit.

News Flash, UT isn't easy to recruit.

Decent classes? Against big east schools? I think there is plenty more to be said.

You go and try and recruit in the Big East in Kentucky. Heck its easier to recruit at UT than at Louisville. He has proven himself as a recruiter at both UF and South Carolina

It is easier to recruit 2-3 star quality players to UT than Louisville, yes that is true.
