Why does everyone think Strong will be a great Recruiter?

class rankings in december are pointless.

if you look at end result his two classes at Louisville have ranked #1 and #2 is his conference. hes coached at 4 different SEC schools in 4 different states plus notre dame. he now has ties in kentucky and ohio after his 3 year stint at louisville. hes literally recruited a circle on the map around the state of Tennessee and as head man hed have no problem with in state recruits

and hes got a hot wife - the man can recruit

Because he is a proven recruiter. Look up the classes he helped get at UF, USCJr and Louisville.

Do your research people!!!

He has 33 players for Florida at Louisville obviously hard for him to pull a ton of 4-5 stars to Kentucky when they can go anywhere.

you didnt ask me but i talked to a 4 star about an hr ago and asked him what he thought about Strong to UT and he was kinda like "meh". but i think thats more because its not official yet and he sick of talkin about it ..after all, ive thrown 5 names at him in the past month

I really don't think that makes any difference these days.

How can anyone rate his recruiting being a HC in his first is year while ignoring his past with Florida is beyond me.

When recruits see Charlie Strong as Tennesse's HC they're going to ask and look up who he is and what he has done. He's got a stellar reputation at Florida that kids will notice. Especially seeing some of those defensive stars get drafted the first round. Strong becomes HC I'll bet the house Tennessee gets a recruiting class not ranked below 15th in his first year.

Do you know how much media splash Meyers got when he went to florida and free pub? Check his first year UF recruitting class. Strong won't even make a drip if he becomes UT's HC. I really believe that.

If you look up what he did at Florida all the commits he had on rivals are 4* or better. In 2007 he was the lead recruiter that pull the top DL and #1 player in South Carolina so he has pulled players vs spurrier.

Ok, when they announced the UF gators, did they say Urban Meyers and his UF gators are national champions, or did they say Defensive Coordinator Charlie Strong with Urban Meyers and the UF gators?

I get your positive hopes, but I only see us being average on his best years at UT. That's it.

Why dont you just go root for Indiana, we have enough Negavols on here. We wont know what he can do until he is presented the opportunity.

Oh I don't care about Indiana, I just wanted my thing to spell out tit. Again, glad you are aboard. I rooted for dooley for a while, don't want to see the samething happen again. How bout you fella McFriendly?
