For all the haters talking about people making fools of themselves. You're making fools of yourself. He's always been polished. He has a very much NY style of being sharp tongued, and to the point, but most Americans find that refreshing. As opposed to the usual mealy mouthed two faced DC puppets we're used to.

Polished? He's morbidly obese, wears ill-fitting clothes and speaks at a middle school level (both vocabulary and insults). This belief that he's anything more than a rich bully is quite confusing

he had a republican congress for 2 years. He didn't get much done because he wanted to treat the system of checks and balances like a typical business where he just gets to tell others what to do. too bad for him, but good for the rest of us, that's not how it works.

Every president has to work with Congress to get things they want passed. Trump is no different. just another example of him NOT being presidential.

especially as that is what got him elected, as someone else already pointed out. He was always the anti-president/anti-system guy.

This sounds like Trump defending himself. Trump is the most presidential president ever, just ask anyone. His motorcade is yuge. Everyone is talking about it.

I know I want my presidents to refuse any and all responsibility:

Didn't the GOP didn't get Trump on the border wall, IRC they were in lock step with tbe DNC.? How does he get stuff accomplished when his own party activily fight him?

Because the guy described Donald Trump as being "polished."

If he wanted anyone to watch that video, and take his post seriously, then he should not have made such an absurd statement. That is beyond ridiculous. Not even Trump's most fanatical supporters will describe him that way. In fact, the Trump supporters that I talk to think that his awkward mannerisms and inarticulate speech add to his "outsider" persona. Trump isn't well-polished as most DC politicians are. At times, that has even worked to his advantage.

So, why make such a stupid claim that Trump is "polished?" It was an incredibly idiotic thing to say. How can anyone read that, and then care about what the point of the rest of the post is?

I hold Bush accountable for the Patriot Act
I hold Obama accountable for the ADA (Obamacare)

I also hold them responsible for the things they weren't able to achieve but promised. both on campaign and in office.

I hold that same standard for Trump. he should have worked out deals. he isn't king. support candidates in elections that will support him. Build up ground support from citizens to pressure their Congress people. Call individual congressional members out who are going back against their word, and do so in a constructive adult manner, not just Trumps typical insults.
