I don’t necessarily “hate” Bama.

I don’t like them, I’m confident they have possibly skirted the rules at times (just my opinion)……..however I can’t stand their fans.

20 years ago there might have been a handful of Bama fans around (where I live)……..when they started becoming really good…….heck it was simply more and more fans.

now there are tons of them…….and they want to always show how awesome they and “their” team are………where the heck were you on 03 or 2000 and all? Hiding?

I get young folk grow up liking them and all……I’m talking about folks my own age.

I’ve hated Bama my whole life. In my blood I guess. But I was on the bass fishing team at UT while in college, made lots of friends from different schools. The two teams that thought they were better than everybody else and couldn’t even have a polite conversation were…. You guessed it Alabama and Florida!! They were d’cks and solidified my hatred. On the other hand I made lots of friends from Auburn, Bethel and UTC. Even a couple from various Mississippi schools.

Thanks for bumping this. It gives me the sads reading this treatise on Alabama hate and the author having a hard time remembering the last time we lost.

Growing up in the 80’s & 90’s I hated Florida worse than anything. Steve Spurrier was just the worst. As a young adult I got to attend Fulmer’s last Bama game. Experiencing rammer jammer first hand instilled a hatred that has grown since.

Friday...day before THE GAME...typically the Third Saturday In October, but the calendar was weird this year or the folks doing scheduling at the SEC that couldn't organize and orgy muddled this one up as well (maybe the refs do part-time work in the scheduling department).

Whatever the reason for it being on the fourth Saturday - let's blame Saban anyways !!!

YEP, it's Friday ladies and gents and I STILL hate the Alabama Crimson Tide...
