Defend / deflect. The white nationalist at the Charlottesville rally (James Fields) who ran over and killed Heather Heyer in August of 2017 was sentenced to life in prison last week. Whenever that incident is brought up on the politics forum of Volnation, it is always immediately countered by a conservative with a reference to something having to do with Antifa and the question, "Where was your outrage then?". "What-about-ism" is not a defense of anyone's behavior. It's a deflection. Both liberals and conservatives on this forum use it, regularly, however - I have used it myself. It's just the reality of this particular forum.
But there was nothing factually wrong with that meme?Absolutely wrong, The nazi's robbed the people as a communist state, killed its people in masses not because of their wealth but because of their ideology, and you think they had a clinic on every corner free for everyone not to mention it's military represented the majority of its economy and as far as I know there were not any regulations on industry. We tore down the Nazi statues and symbolism on our march to Berlin and after. The Nazi's put the expansion of the supreme race above god and propagandized the population .
My only exposure to Twitter is on this forum. I'm pretty sure murder is not the way to respond. You didn't read the comments on the stories posted on twitter about this attack? Folks were asking for an address or more info to find him pretty much right after it happened. The right is getting really tired of the crap.

Portland is another beautiful city that has been destroyed by Democratic leadership.
Twitter is best avoided.I hope the don't kill him either. It sounded like a return the beat down thing..although these days you never know what's in people's heads.
I don't actually do twitter except following links from here, but damn, reading through comments on most of those links should scare the living daylights out of everyone as to where this country is at. The stupidity is rampant all the way around.
Beating the hell out of or killing anyone over politics is stupid. I don't care if it's extreme left or extreme right, it's just an insane response to a difference in political views. The white nationalist at the Charlottesville rally (James Fields) who ran over and killed Heather Heyer in August of 2017 was sentenced to life in prison last week.
