Why is Biden given a free pass to consistently say racist things.

Trump Will Not Apologize for Calling for Death Penalty Over Central Park Five

Because the racist are trying to flip things on him to deflect from their actual racism.

He was a dummy and said something stupid. Its not what conservatives are trying to say though.
Calling for the death penalty is asking for people to kill black people? It was a call to bring back the death penalty for murderers, who he thought was guilty. I also noticed he talked about the safety of everyone, not just whitey. I'm for the death penalty if you're guilty of murder. Heck, I'm for the death penalty for pedophilia! Does that make me racist?

Good, because if you actually heard (and understand) what he said, then you know there is absolutely nothing to it.

Luth, don’t get defensive because I’m not necessarily pointing this double standard at you, but it’s interesting to me how Democrats tend to get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to their bigoted comments. They are interpreted in the most favorable way or often discarded as a “poorly worded statement”.

That same benefit is rarely extended to conservatives.

Who is too stupid to understand that most Americans of African ancestry have been in this country for many generations? Some Latinos have as well, but there have been tens of millions of Latino immigrants arriving over the past several decades, from numerous other nations. All of those Latin American countries have different histories and different cultures. There is nothing racist in Biden recognizing those obvious facts.

I agree, but I don't necessarily view that as inappropriate or unjustified.

The things people say will always be viewed through the perspective which they have created with their previous words and actions.
There are general assumptions made about a person based on them being conservative or liberal.

I heard exactly what he said. And it’s vastly different from what you are implying. Run along to the continuum now.
Whenever you say "run along", I hear "I've got nothing, you win".

Now you can run along back to the children's table and let the adults speak.

See how idiotic that sounds?

It’s a huge double standard, and one your happy to apply.

If Democrats are honest with themselves, they would think Biden was a POS were he a candidate on the other side of the aisle. Biden has a pattern of making offensive comments pertaining to black people. But because he’s a Democrat, Democrats are happy to rationalize his comments to not be particularly bigoted.

As you somewhat alluded to, the underlying assumption is he’s a Democrat so he cannot be a bigot.

I don't know about the two democrats you know but most of those casting a blue vote that I know totally own that this is purely a lesser of two evils.

I’m not sure how this adds or detracts from the comment you responded to.

Also, I live and work in one of the bluest counties in Maryland. Most people around me vote Democrat.

The assumption is that in general, democrats are less bigoted than republicans.
The assumption is that republicans are more likely than dems. to be members of the NRA.
The assumption is that democrats are more likely than republicans to be pro-choice.
Some of those assumptions are more quantifiable than others, but they are all firmly held assumptions.

Honestly you sound like a Trumper. Just tell Biden's handlers to go ahead and start filling out the Biden apology template for his latest offensive gaffe....

“Earlier today, I made some comments about _________ in the _________ communities that I want to clarify. In no way did I mean to suggest that __________. Not at all.”

Right, it’s this underlying assumption that you make that clouds your judgment. It’s what helps you rationalize away what is right before you. It’s also what makes it so easy to hold different people to different standards. What goes unstated here is the thought that “He’s a Democrat so his thoughts and motives are pure.”

What Republican candidate would survive talking to a black audience with a fake black accent along with a hot sauce prop?

I live and work in one of the reddest counties in GA, being in the minority has it's pluses and minuses.
I'm thinking the pluses are you live in and get the benefit of a conservative county with free speech, being able to openly carry guns, no riots, lower crime and are taxed lower. I'm still thinking about the minuses.

So you told me what run along means to you and then you say run along 😂 And as usual your inference is wrong! 🤣

Go sit in the corner child

Obviously there are no resettled Somalis or other Africans in your neck of the woods.

The most racist people I’ve met over the last 20 years are from the Northeast. Primarily Bostonians and New Yorkers.
