Seriously. The guy hit 17 threes in one game in Turkey... what more do scouts need? Would he be a starter? Heck no. But he would make a great 3-Pt specialist and would be a beast coming off the bench.

I didn't think jj redick would have done well in the nba, but he's doing pretty well off the bench. Maybe lofton would too.

Lofton is slow. Plus, a lot more people in NBA can shoot the lights out than in NCAA. Every one is a sharp shooter at the next level.

if he was only a little taller for a 2 guard. If he could handle the ball would be different so he could play the point. Unfortunately he cant run the point and most shooting guards in the NBA ar at the least 6'4 or 6'5 and if they are only 6'4 they are usually high flying rim rocking dunkers.

Chris has never been confused as a point guard. Therefore, he would draw defensive assignments for such characters as Kobe Bryant etc. That should not be too hard to visualize.:mf_surrender:

As much as i would like to see him succeed, I don't think that he would do well in the NBA. I would buy his jersey though.

JR Smith, Monta Ellis, and Eric Gordon, among others, love the idea of Chris Lofton in the NBA.

Why not ask why Torrey harris isnt in the NBA??? Oh wait he is 6'10" and can't make a layup ala Brian Williams.

Lofton is too slow and too small to find space in the NBA. There are lots of threads from his Jr. and Sr. seasons debating his viability of making it in the show, but run down the list of 2 guards in the NBA and tell me who you see him shooting over, much less defending.

The guy got, and apparently still gets, a ton out of the ability he has, but the bottom line is that he doesn't have NBA ability. If he did, he'd be on a roster.

Defense + NBA= fail ;)

I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean. If it is suggesting that there is no defense in the NBA, it simply shows a lack of understanding of what those guys are doing.

Such a simple concept, so incredibly hard for some people to grasp.
