Lane Kiffin?

Let's not kid ourselves...we all loved the year he was in Knoxville. Our program was relevant, ESPN was talking about us, recruits loved us and had he stayed we would be a top 10 team.
He has been following all the rules at USC and other than the deflated football thing.
I wouldn't make him the number one priority but of the options are Golden, Smart and Strong, I'd go after Kiffin.
I would not put him over Gruden but of we have to go to 2nd tier coaches, I'd bring Kiffin back.

It would be tempting, however he betrayed UT and got in this deep mess. That would be risking program death. And that is not a viable option.

Because we just got hit with more "sanctions" from his "exciting" time here......I was excited the first time, do you really enjoy being someone's second choice? F*** LANE KIFFIN.

Seriously? He's the reason were on probation and managed to do it within a year. Had the number 1 ranked team now has 4 losses. Should I go on?

Kiffin is not even in the discussion. We still don't know how badly he screwed us as things keep coming up. No one, yet, has any clue regarding his actions at USC as to meeting compliance. You usually learn after the fact. I'd find it surprising if things don't start turning up in the near future. And, no, everyone didn't love the year he was here. We were still losing and he was desperately trying to rebrand UT as another USC.

Not at all...putting the emotions aside, Kiffin would be a good hire

Great hire! Yes! Extraordinary hire! Bully!

....except for the fact that he probably has the most talent in the nation and plays in the PAC-12 and will be out of the top 25 later today. No big deal though.

Just so we're clear, you're talking about the Lane Kiffin who caused us to get more probation from the NCAA, almost three years after he left, right? The one whose SC team began the year as preseason #1, and just today lost to UCLA and gave up the PAC-12 South? Same cat, right?

You trollin?
