Why not Kiffin...?

Lane Kiffin?

Let's not kid ourselves...we all loved the year he was in Knoxville. Our program was relevant, ESPN was talking about us, recruits loved us and had he stayed we would be a top 10 team.
He has been following all the rules at USC and other than the deflated football thing.
I wouldn't make him the number one priority but of the options are Golden, Smart and Strong, I'd go after Kiffin.
I would not put him over Gruden but of we have to go to 2nd tier coaches, I'd bring Kiffin back.

This sounds as desperate as some of Dooley's in game decisions tonite..

I did not love Lane Kiffin's year in Knoxville. The guy is a perpetual embarrassment on and off the field. No effing way. Give me Petrino before Kiffin (and I don't want Petrino either).

Because he's a slimy, bottom-feeding, used-car salesman. (No disrespect to used-car salesmen intended) Why not Mike Price?
Two things (among others) that bring a smile to my face on Saturday are the Vols winning and any kiffen-coached team losing.
He is a slime bag and will always be one. People like him do not change.

Sorry, I thought I'd interject a little humor to the situation.

That said, I am enjoying his recent troubles.

Is that wrong?

He's about to take pre-season #1 team to 7-5 record at USC. USC has the tradition, perfect location at LA, loaded 5* roster, and easy schedule.

Choking at USC is like someone giving you a Ferrari and a mansion and you still can't get laid.

After getting thumped by UCLA last weekend and pending a loss to Notre Dame, sources close to the situation reporting Kiffen will likely be fired and replaced by Jeff Fisher , who will be replaced by Mike Munchack at St. Louis, who will then be replaced by Derek Dooley at the Titans. Its rumored Kiffen has agreed in principle to a 8yr $38m offer with the Vols and hopes the fan base can put the past behind them and focus on the future. Yes indeed folks, you heard it here first, the Lane train is rolling back into Knoxville full speed ahead
