I went on a USC board to read their posts after loss yesterday...some of those guys believe usc is getting gruden. Apparently gruden has been making the rounds, lol

an OP being wrong is a normal occurence. however, the level of cheesiness and unoriginality achieved in this thread might have scaled an entire new plateau of lame for VN. nice work.

Kiffin is falling on his face at USC. They have 3 times the talent we do, every analyst in the country had them in the NC game preseason, and they are gonna finish 7-5 and unranked. The guy changes jersey numbers at halftime and deflates balls to give him an "edge", and he still can't win. Lane Kiffin is a clown and is getting exposed this season.

Let's not kid ourselves...we all loved the year he was in Knoxville. Our program was relevant, ESPN was talking about us, recruits loved us and had he stayed we would be a top 10 team.
He has been following all the rules at USC and other than the deflated football thing.
I wouldn't make him the number one priority but of the options are Golden, Smart and Strong, I'd go after Kiffin.
I would not put him over Gruden but of we have to go to 2nd tier coaches, I'd bring Kiffin back.
