Fulmer, Cutcliff, and Chavis. Make it happen!

Get the band back 2gether.

Tee Martin, Marion Hobby, TD Woods, Randy Sanders, Jay Graham, Dale Jones, Phil Fulmer, David Cutcliffe and John Chavis can be our nine assistant coaches. Johnny Majors will be the head coach.

That can be our next staff!!!

What ever your personal opinion, drop it here. Realize that this man is a huge part of our history and that is because he dedicated his life to Tennessee football. He was the winning-est active football coach when he was fired. He has earned all of our respect. That being said, ***** no don't offer him the job... moving on

Him not accepting another job is just further proof that this should be done. He obviously loves the University of Tennessee so much that he would never think of going elsewhere. As I said earlier, he bleeds orange and would never leave us.

face it, this is our best option. i think he could get us back to the top in a couple of years. He can obviously recruit with the best of them. He could hire a top notch OC and DC and boom, we are back in business. I think alot of people forget that we were in the SEC championship game not that long ago.

go to Fulmer on bended knees and beg him to come back. Sounds like a pretty good option to me? Thoughts.

That's a good point, bubba...

Why would he take such a big step down?

How is it that Saban has out-recruited every other top program in the land by a large margin the last 5 years? I don't mean, "look, bammer is always in the top 5 every year", which is what I might mean. No, I mean, here is Saban's record per Rivals:

1,5,1,1,1

That's right. NUMBER ONE FOUR OUT OF FIVE!!! :eek:hmy:

It's simply astonishing. Number two is LSU in the same five year stretch, who has only been IN THE TOP FIVE 3 times in that stretch!

It's not like Saban is "winning" at recruiting. He is DOMINATING. And you have to ask yourself, why in HELL would kids from all over the country (because Saban does recruit nationwide) choose a s___hole like Tuscaloosa over Miami, LA, or even Gainesville or Austin Texas?

There is an obvious reason. Here is the only other coach to approach Saban in the last two decades:

1,2,1,3,1

Pete Carroll of USC from 2001-2006. With him being in LA, celebrities dropping by, and being a helluva lot nicer guy than Saban...guess what?

OH YEAH! HE GOT CAUGHT CHEATING!

And you know what else? HE DON'T HAVE ANY MNCS! The NCAA took em back.

So my bammer friend...enjoy those MNCs that Saban won for you. They may well not last .... :pepper:

So, he couldn't when the coaches of the other teams were worse but he will be able to now?
