there is no way you can blame Phillip for this mess. He went to the SECCG in 06. How quickly some of you blowhard bandwaggoners forget how many great things he did for this university. Fulmer is VOL football.

Selective memory. What about Clawson? There is a reason that no other program has hired Fulmer.

it amazes me how quickly everyone turned on Fulmer after all that he has done for this university. He deserves better.

Bash him all you want, but NOTHING good has happened to this team since he left. Maybe we can hire Phil's successor back, he's soon to be done at USC.

go to Fulmer on bended knees and beg him to come back. Sounds like a pretty good option to me? Thoughts.

Not just no but HELL NO !!!

I don't want that fat piece of s--t booster ass kissin' politician anywhere near this program again. He's the one who started our dive into the abyss that we are in.

Anybody that wants him back is a freakin' idiot !!!

With all due respect, each post you produce is dumber than the one before.

I bet you'd be hard pressed to find one example in human history where a coach was FIRED and then brought back 4 years later. He was fired because the program was declining and there is absolutely no reason to believe this go around would be any different. Phil was great in his prime. His prime was 15 years ago.

Heeeelllooooo.....Bill Snyder...Kansas State....Number One in the country this morning....heeelllloooo!!!

He is the reason for our success. I will not let facts stand in your way. Ramble on.

Fulmer will not be back. The money backers that wanted change four years ago are still there. As for all the bashing of Fulmer, go to Alabama. Fulmer is the second winningest coach in the History of Tennessee Football and a very close second to the General who coached in an era that didn't use the forward pass. Coach Fulmer only had two bad seasons in 17 years and they were four years apart. I agree that talent level dropped off at the end of his career, but if you have been listening over the last week, you would have found out about the new academic restrictions put on the program around 2001 eliminating certain recruits from getting in. The Thornton Center taken away for Athletics that Fulmer got the donations to build has crippled keeping players academics up to par.
I have been blessed to be from the same area as Coach Majors and Coach Fulmer and I respect them both for everything they did for the university.
Fulmer haters get over it, you got what you wanted and now Karma is a b***h. Live with it and enjoy.

It is always everybody else's fault, according to all the Phil lovers . Fulmer was way out of date when he got fired. Getting pounded by his rivals on a regular basis.

You can't argue with Fulmer haters and/or Obama supporters. I said Fulmer lost the talent edge, compounded by increased academic admission requirtment, lost of staff, and the hiring of high profile coaches in recruiting areas of Georgia, Louisiana, and South Carolina. I was one of you too, I felt it was time for a change, but I still respect his 30 years of service and dedication. Give him the respect he deserves and quit the bashing. It is not Fulmers fault or Bush's fault for Dooley's inepitude as a coach.
