Why on earth was Vandy's best pass rusher

Thanks for the reply; that's a good perspective to have IMO. I don't mean to compare CJF to Lane Kiffin, because I think CJF is light years ahead of CLK in terms of coaching ability. However, I do see alot of parallels in terms of the attitude of the Vandy fan base with that of the UT fan base in 2009. He gave us hope and to some extent arrogance, because we thought that he'd bring us back. When he bolted it was devastating I think in part because it was so unexpected and I just wonder if Commodore fans have prepared themselves for the possibility.

Very few coaches stay long term these days anywhere.

Caleb Azubike in the game with under 20 seconds left to play and the game in hand? Now he may miss the remainder of the season because of Franklin's boneheaded decision. That injury looked bad.

Azubike actually comes off the bench and is a backup DE. He would be #3 on the team as far as pressure, but when you are thin on the Dline, he has to play a lot. He will start next year as he has been a bright spot considering he has only been playing football for a few years. I had no problem with Franklin trying to score, but he should have ran the ball instead of doing a "jump pass" which made it look worse then what it was.

We don't have to. Just beating Vandy and UK will suffice. Honestly if your not on top of the standings and going to the SEC Championship it is pretty irrelevant. Fighting over the middle to bottom half of the East is nothing to brag about, especially as aweful as the East as a whole is. But also can see how a Vandy or UK fan would focus on mediocrity instead of getting to the top. If you have never been there then you don't know what you're missing, keep living the mediocrity dream. A bowl would choose a 6-6 UT over say a 7-5 Vandy on most days.just from the name and fan travel alone. Just sayin.....

We haven't been fighting over the middle for quite awhile now :(
