Why we missed...

Before the season started, Martin said our offense was watered down last season and simplified to a great deal. This season looked no better IMO. I thought Martin was horrible in tight situations at the end of games. He really has to step it up before I believe in him. He's had plenty of time and piss on losing Maymon being the excuse.

That's what KY said about Noel......just sayin. With Noel, KY is in, without him well, they just suck (and I love it).

Really? That's the answer? Compare MTSU and Tennessee?

Had we scored , what, more than 38 points against a couple of teams we'd be in, simple as that.

I'm just saying, Middle Tenn. didn't beat anyone in their non-conference, so you clearly don't have to win those games, just merely schedule them, apparently.

I understand that, and many have made that point. I really believe we under performed, the loss to Arky, the two losses to UGA, two to Ole Miss and (including the Tourney) 2 losses to Bama. Who did we really beat? UK, their first game w/o Noels and UF who had some injuries at the time we got them too. I guess MTSU won the games they were s'posed to, we didn't.

Please refrain from mentioning injured players from other teams. They only count if they are our players.

FLA with a couple injured, Mizz, Wichita...all better than what Middle Tenn did...if they won the games they were supposed to in the Sun Belt maybe they should have reached the conference final of that crummy league.

I mean they had 1 top 100 win...idc how many wins they compile against garbage competition, should have been a 1 bid league, to me at least.

Kentucky was a .500 team without Noel. Tennessee won 20 games minus Maymon. No other SEC team lost their best player from the previous season for a significant amount of time.

Florida lost two roll players for a few games. I'm not making excuses. I'm just saying no one faced the uphill battle Tennessee and UK faced. UK fell flat on their face, and Tennessee just didn't do enough in the committee's eyes.

If your argument is that we deserve their spot, well okay. They did beat Ole Miss, who we loss to twice, they beat Vandy. They loss to Florida, expected. Loss to Akron in OT, loss to Belmont, a tourney team, and Arky St. in OT, and in their conference semi-final. 28 wins, when is the last time a team with 28 wins didn't make the tourney?

But, were the 28 wins quality wins, or cupcake wins?
