I keep hearing increased talk about him laying back and eventually tossing his hat in the ring again.I think he would be by far the best his party has to offer, maybe either party.Thoughts?

It's my understanding that someone cannot be President for 3 terms in a row.

considering he can't get elected to 1 term, I'm going to assume the two of you are being sarcastic.

Wow, his first two terms don't factor into him running for president.. Being vice president for two terms doesn't bar him if he intends to be the head man in 2008.:ermm:

If he was worth a damn, he could have won last time.
Couldn't even win his home state.

Better stick to inventing the internet

Wow, try to follow along. Al Gore was voted President, but was stolen from him, possibly. Thus, I am making a joke.

stolen by whom? it's amazing the left is able to function since the 2000 election with all the angst and handwringing that still goes on 7 years later.

what did Jeb Bush do?

you can point to a conspiracy all you want, especially if it makes you feel better. Maybe if Gore had asked for a recount of the entire state instead of select counties, maybe if democrat operatives in county election offices didn't engage in a systematic effort to disqualify military absentee ballots...

do you see the futility here? for every "Bush stole it" theory, there's an equally persuasive "Gore lost it fair and square" theory.

Florida still doesn't change the fact that Gore didn't win his home state.

He lost, get over it.

I will say though, that if it were the Al Gore from the late 80s running and not Gore the New Age Messiah running, he'd have a good shot at being elected. As he is today, he's not electable.

You all better hope that Al doesn't decided to run this year..

I hope he does, it'll make the freak show that is the Presidential primaries even more of a comedy than it usually is.

I don't think Big Al has the balls to take on Hillary.

I find it highly comical that you decided NOT to bold the word "possibly." Also, I find it highly comical that you decided not to bold the word "joke."

You take yourself too seriously.

Al Gore is coming to get you and when he does, he's going to eat you and turn you into alternative energy.
