Will Anderson sure is scary….

If Young went to Bama, they would be playing his story and how he had got to Bama. Oh how his story is so sad, and how he pressed his way and wouldn't give up. He'd be up for Heisman instead of B Young.

Anderson is the best player in the country regardless of position. I love BY, but I'd take Anderson in a heartbeat. That being said, I hope BY puts BY on his back all day on Saturday. If we can limit or somewhat neutralize Anderson, I love our chances.
mmm some nice Young on Young crime....wait that didn't sound right

In the game against Texas a Longhorn player stumbled and fell to the ground with no one around him. Obviously, he was down once he hit the ground. He popped up and then Will Anderson hit him late, drawing a 15-yard penalty. It shocked me that the best defensive player in the country didn’t know that you can’t hit someone after they fall to the ground and get back up. Bama played like that the whole game against a Texas too. They had one dumb penalty after another.

and the refs still bailed them out with the bum call on the safety! Bama has every advantage in every game and the refs are def included in that. I hate the way Saban tries to make them the victim, Jimbo is right when he said its easy to win when you have every advantage. There is no way they got all those 5 stars over the years legally, now Saban is all upset because everyone now has the same advantage. Every big call always goes in their favor, always has. Name one time in the past 20 years Alabama got screwed on a crappy call and it cost them a game.

I thought it was crap that Bama was given another second in the Kick 6 game. I thought the clock ran out. What’s funny is that what looked like the advantage for Bama cost them the game. Now they we’re screwed against Auburn a couple years ago and Auburn got to kick a FG right before the half when they shouldn’t have and that was the difference in the game. But I agree it’s rare. I will say this year they’re getting called for way more stuff. It’s weird. Like that PI at the end of their game with A&M. It was definitely PI but in years past that wouldn’t have been called.

No, it technically doesn't, I guess, but I don't recall the last time a highly touted draft pick wasn't one of the best players in the country.

Now, do highly touted players become busts at the next level and not pan out? Sure.
Al Wilson was drafted after Andy Katzenmoyer…

After that whiff Sampson had last week in pass protection, I hope they limit his opportunities to running the ball.

Maybe keep the TEs in a little more to help protect against their front 7.

Other than that, I would run my offense and attack To'oto'o in pass coverage as much as possible with short passes to the wide outs in between deep shots.

Last season, Anderson won the Bronko Nagurski Trophy as the nation's best defensive player after leading the FBS in both tackles for loss (34.5) and sacks (17.5). If he were eligible for the 2022 NFL Draft, there's a good chance the Jacksonville Jaguars would have taken him with the No. 1 overall pick.

The hype over Anderson is deserved. Give Hooker time to throw the ball over his head and his accolades won't matter though.

He’s a great player and we better not let him get going early. IMO Alabamas oline has been by far their biggest weakness this year, so hopefully BY can get his too.

“talked about” = subjective, and if one thinks Anderson is the best player in the country, why not just be excited about the fact that our guy is leading the best player in the country in a key metric instead of reflexively genuflecting to Alabama?

I am very excited about Young. He is really playing good football. Anderson is one of if not the best players in football. Two things can be true you know.

Both are really good players and likely 1st rounders, so far. Where they go depends on the needs of the team picking.

It’s ok to say that.

Watching Anderson against A&M he looked unstoppable. Mind you we have excellent pass protection so far this year (by the numbers at least) but our RBs are poor at pass protection and our spread attack leads to more one on one blocking on the edge. He'll be tough to stop if we can't get the run game going.

The scariest thing about Will Anderson is his do.

I will say this I’ve heard all the media pumping this guy WA and I’m sure he is good but I saw him on an interview with Finebaun and me expecting some intimidating Looking guy like Al Wilson but he looked more like a defensive back.

Uncle Lou on his latest Your Season Is Done video he said Will Anderson is garbage and Uncle Lou is 100% correct.
