Maybe? Because just because you have a good recruiting class, doesn't mean that it will equate to on the field play. Look at Kiffin's class. Most of those guys lasted one or two seasons at most. Or look at some of Fulmer's top classes that didn't pan out.
Yes! The S.E.C. has alot of good teams, but it all runs in cycles. The teams that were good a decade ago, are no longer on top. Florida has really fallen and U.T. has really fallen. What we need to do is make consistant progress and once Alabama, A & M, LSU, etc. struggle, then we can take advantage of it and leap in to the top stop of the S.E.C. We are on the down cycle now, while Alabama, A & M, LSU are on the top cycle now. We just need to get in striking distance of them and pass them up once they struggle or get put on probabation.
