How exactly can a coach be a fraud? It's not like he told us he was the coach at UT, but secretly was a bag boy at Piggly Wiggly.

No way he becomes a head coach again at a high level. Position coach or commentator are in his future.

I don't understand why people think he'd be a good AD or GM. Hell, they have to make very important decisions and everyone should know by now that decision making is NOT his strong suit.

Probably best at litigating, negotiating, and organizing. So AD or GM. I liked him as a person but that doesn't win games.

First...Dooley doesn't have to do anything. Which is in a good position to be in. Maybe he will get the itch one day and his wife will let him scratch it if its the right timing.

I said it before I think if the SMU position were to open up it would be a great fit. It was where he started and he will stay in the DFW area. He also fits perfectly with the SMU alums. I think better than Jones does. Jones has set up a solid foundation there too. Unlike any of u I don't want Dooley taking over any rival program that is in good shape. Ie..bama, uga, uscjr. Imho that would not be good for UT.

Imho that's all...

I would love to see him at one of our rivals. Not only would we get to beat our rivals brains in but I'd also get to watch the Dooley worshipers cry more.

I wonder if Dooley wonders if Tennessee will ever be champions again. And does he care? And will he believe if he had a hand in Tennessee's rise back? Did he lay the foundation with his VFL program?

I'm sure these questions will be in his tell all book. (Release date TBA)

The only way Dooley makes it back to a high level is if he goes to a lesser program and does something really special.

If Jones takes off at UT then programs might consider Dooley as a set up man if they have sunk as low as UT and LT were.
