Didn’t quite expect 98 yards and 3 INTs, but that’s just what this team is doing to people as the season goes on.

People seem to confuse the eye black and intensity for some intangible that will translate and make for an elite NFL QB, but come to find out you can only scream “LET’S GO” on the sideline so many times before you have to actually get it the game and prove you have what it takes.

Levis doesn’t have it.

Goes back to what I said in another thread, Tennessee had a plan to limit/focus on the other teams' best players and they executed. TN played good defense and limited Rodriquez and put pressure on Levis. What else did they have?

I'm not sure he's got garbage, but he didn't look much like a high NFL prospect last night. Then again, I'm not a scout so what do I know? I prefer to give the VOLS credit for shutting him down.

A bad KY o line deserves a lot of blame as well. Levis just wasn’t accurate when he had time to throw. You’re right though, the defense was incredible.

I hate the overrated chants. When we say a player or a team we just dominated is overrated or sucks it diminishes from our teams performance.


Will Levis will make a lot of money playing on Sunday. He had a horrible game last night. I think most of that had to do with our defensive effort and play. I didn’t see a lot of open receivers for Kentucky last night because of our secondary play. Our defensive front didn’t give Levis much time to try to stretch our secondary with deep balls. I thought our front seven dominated and stifled the Kentucky run game. Great defensive effort against a QB who will probably be a top 10 pick.

Levis couldn't and didn't beat out Clifford at PSU, who's just average anyway. Fowler called him "Kentucky's elite quarterback" more than once last night. Where is "elite" coming from (?), because I haven't seen it at all.

I don't get the reasoning behind running down an opposing player you just embarrassed. Levis is 3rd conf in passing percentage, 4th in efficiency and averaged 158 yds a game. we put 3 pics on him and allowed 98 yards passing. And he's tough as nails. Just sayin.
