that wont work on TENNESSEE's DEFENSE way to fast for it

Actually thats the reason it may work. The option creates mismatches and spacing. It also creates alot of overpursuit from the Defense. While it will not work at times..it's the big plays that could happen at anytime that you will have to worry about.

That is true against weaker, slower teams but against the big boys of the SEC it will be slowed down a lot more.

You can point to the A&M and other games but as a whole the opponents were never there for anyone to really say how good his offense can be [/quote]
Utah also played a decent UNC and a BCS Pitt team..but also, you have to think that Meyer did what he did with recruiting classes in the 70's, not the top 10. Granted he dominated lesser leagues...but it was with comparable talent, and I'd say UF has comparable talent to anyone in the SEC.

I am curious as to how the experiment plays out...dont think it can get worse than the Zooker era! :bad:

No Depth, Best RB not academically eligibile, DB are bad, Leak is not an option QB, WR's are all talk no substance.

Utah didn't play a good defense all year. Their SOS was 112 of 112. They got off easy playing Pitt in the bowl game. I would have liked to see what Utah could have done against Auburn for example..

Not as deep as UT..but a lil

Best RB not academically eligibile

Has alot of work to do...but as of now is eligible

WR's are all talk no substance

UF had the best passing offense in the SEC and return almost all of the WR's.

Their SOS was 112 of 112.

Considering there are 117 teams..how is this possible..link??

Pitt was hot :shakeit: garbage!!! They never should have been there! It should have been Va Tech against Pitt and Utah against AU! My gradma and her card playing team could have beaten Pitt!

Yeah whatever, 112 of 117...same difference. ;) Actually, I couldn't find the link for the SOS. I know that I didn't imagine it though. The only one that I could find had Utah at 91 and that is not low enough for my taste. I will keep looking.

Let's just put it this way....they weren't challenged by a good defense the whole season....

I do agree Pitt was a very weak BCS opponent..but, you do realize that Pitt beat ND at ND...and I do recall ND beating UT in Neyland last season.

I'd hate to get your granny and her card playing team mad at me then! ;)

UF Threw more passes than anyone else in the SEC. 30 more attempts and 30 more completions.

Also:
O.J. Small 12 63 719 11.4 4 36 59.9 GONE
Andre Caldwell 12 43 689 16.0 3 62 57.4
Ciatrick Fason 12 35 266 7.6 2 30 22.2 GONE

That is 1/3 the passing offensive yards gone and 1 of the top 3 was a Running Back. So much for those fearsome WR's.

Most close to UF football don't see Wynn elgibile for the fall.
