I’d put a lot of money on him going to Bama if he weren’t the coach USCjr next year. Honestly, Bama hasn’t been the same since Pruitt left. That’s not being a homer either.

Yeah, that might the ranking now ... but I believe SC was favored at kickoff. As was Miss State. Kentucky too.

What a cluster...this is making our 2008-2017 AD look competent.

First of all, why does Will Muschamp command the biggest buyout in college football?
Secondly, let's assume you plan to hang onto the guy, but agree that some coordinator changes need to be made. What quality candidate is going to go join a 1 year project to get canned after the inevitable happens?

Also, I'll just say that SC has been lucky to have Steve Spurrier and Will Muschamp as their head coach for the last decade. They way outkicked their coverage on both of those, and yet still remained very mediocre (only 6-4 vs. the Vols in our absolute historic low point)
They were 4-22 prior.
Their fans need to temper their expectations and realize their pecking order in the SEC, or even SEC East will never consistently be where they want it to be.

Will Muschamp will be fired in December 2020 when South Carolina wins 4-5 games again. I could see the next South Carolina head football coach being East Carolina head coach Mike Houston or Appalachian State head football coach Eli Drinkwitz.
