Does you post have anything to do with channeling Elanor Roosevelt?

definitely one of your more crazy statements

And I will debate it all day.

Sarah Palin kept every last one of her campaign promises as governor of Alaska.

All Gingrich has done is make and break the 'contract with America.'

Name one accomplishment Gringrich has that indicates he would make a good president.

Palin will not be elected POTUS any time soon.

why:

1-Her interviews with Couric and Gibson made her look like an intellectual lightweight and she has been unable to effectively counter that stigma. I don't think she's stupid at all, but when you get hustled by Katie Couric, you give the impression that you're not up to the task.

Couric merely proved what an ankle biting liberal lap dog she was and who now has had such low ratings that she is no longer emplowed in the TV industry.

BTW, media image trickery is one of the main reasons we have had a lot of our unqualified and failed presidents, including Barack Hussein Obama.

The liberal prayer:

Obama is the shepherd I did not want. He leadeth me Beside the still factories.

He restoreth my faith in the Republican party. He guideth me in the path of unemployment For his party's sake.

Yea, Though I walk through the valley of the bread line, I shall fear no hunger, for his bailouts are with me.

He has Anointed my income with taxes, My energy expenses runneth over.

Surely, poverty and hard living will follow me all the days of my life, And I will live in a mortgaged home or public housing forever.

2-She quit as governor of Alaska.

She resigned because of a plethora of frivilous complaints by moonbat dhimmicraps that all proved out to all be false, thus saving her family from bankruptcy and saving the state of Alaska millions in the process.

Thankfully now Alaskan law has been changed and the state can protect it's governor and staff from having to pay their own legal fees when a corrupt white house and the Chicago mob attack in force through unfounded bogus legal maneuvers.

3-Her two shining moments of 2008 were her convention speech and the debate against Joe Biden. Her media appearances, even ones in friendly venues like Hannity's show were awkward and filled with her characteristic version of Alaskan "aww, shucks, us momma grizzlies will eat your spleen" jingoisms.

We'll see who eats who's spleen in the long run, won't we?

4-Ronald Reagan was able to overcome an adversarial press corps. Sarah Palin is certainly no Ronald Reagan.

Perhaps not, perhaps even better, at least she isn't a reformed democrat like Reagan.

Still she is by far the closest thing to Reagan the republicans have.

5-She quit as governor of Alaska.

Only after she had fulfilled every last one of her campaign promises in only 32 months.

How rare is that in politics for any elected official to fulfill one's campaign promises?

it's settled then. she won't be president. let this thread die.

Only in your own mind.

What about if you pick a candidate and start a thread supporting him/her?

so I guess the promise to serve a full term wasn't included? She's useless in anything but a rally speech

She didn't promise that.

She did leave the governorship in good hands.

Palin also cleaned up corruption in her own party, another unprecedented act.

Sarah went so far as to back a tea party candidate against a sitting Alaskan (rino) senator and Palin's candidate won the Republican primary.

Unfortunately the democrats crossed over to write in Murkowski for another term.

Shouldn't she have stuck it out to prove to everyone that she was in the right? She is hyper-American. Shouldn't she sacrifice for her country if she loves it that much? Bankruptcy for one family is a small price to pay to save America's soul, no? Her resigning tells me she lacks strength of conviction. Tough times? Just quit to make them all go away. Where was the pit bull, hockey mom, momma grizzly, Joe the plumber etc, etc, tough gal in her when the going got tough for her? It wasn't there; It was all rah-rah, yay me, cheerleading hot air. She tucked tail and ran. That's not leadership. That's self-preservation. End of story.:peace2:

you can judge how pissed off you've made gsvol by the size of his reply, the amount of personal attacks contained therein, and the number of stupid photo-shopped images he includes.

he wasn't all that pissed today, perhaps he got laid last night, but I was honestly expecting more when he finally decided to reply to my earlier post.

really? So she had no idea what the commitment would be when she took the job? I find that hard to believe

She left the governorship in good hands with her Lt
Governor and saved the state of Alaska millions in
dealing with frivilous complaints filed by the pond
scum otherwise known as democrats who were
cooridnated out of the White House by Rahm Emanuel.

I would she think did *******ned well for the people of Alaska.

BTW, every complaint has proven to be false, not
one even had the least of merit, which shows who
has integrity and who doesn't in this equation.

Such a legal assault is unprecedented in American
history as far as I know but it sure does show how
afraid of Sarah Palin the Obbma clan is.

Well she could have proven she could go bankrupt
fighting a lost cause.

How would she save the soul of a nation by disappearing?

Furthermore she didn't run from a damned thing.

Instead she fought back by taking her message nationwide
and raising $10 million in short order.

DO THE FREAKING MATH!

You say you vote for the best candidate, which do you think is the best candidate??

PS; Since you mentioned being a whiskey drinker, I had
in mind to give you some excellent aged moonshine, the
thought escapes my mind now, may your freezer quit
and your waleye rot! :salute:

We have put a man on the moon, eradicated diseases

come up for a cure for stupidity.

I'm not angry with you, I pity you, there is no cure

Made a decision on who you will support yet?

no. Why should I? The only person I could pick that would satisfy you would be Sarah Palin, and I'm not going to support her if she decides to throw her hat into the ring.

tell you what, I will tell you who I won't support, other than Palin.

1. Ron Paul
2. John Huntsman
3. Rick Santorum
4. Michelle Bachmann

You couldn't judge a **** sandwich? Does that mean he wouldn't taste one? Unintentional compliment?

It means he is trying to feed me one and I'm not biting.

So then you have narrowed it down to;

1. Gingrich?
2. Romney?
3. Perry?

I'm writing in Ray Stevens and Larry the Cable guy if
any of those get the nomination, fwiw.

I'm still waiting for you to extol the virtues of Newt. :loco:

One low blow deserves another. :)

Ever catch any Sauger??

Are Walleye anything like as delicious as Sauger?

Last year when we had the big flood event, my next
door neighbor donated about 125 lbs of frozen fish
to a local church and the displaced people had nice
fish dinners for a few days.

His cousin from Alabama brings him the fish caught on
the lake (Wheeler?) above Pickwick dam, already cleaned
and frozen, mostly catfish but some crappie and bream.

No fish this year, they are too busy rebuilding after the
recent tornados.

Very much like sauger, near identical taste. They are so closely related they can cross-breed. The result is a saugeye. No joke.

Please reconsider the shine. I need some for a re-enactment coming up in a few months, so I can be 'period correct' with my beverages.:)
