Bottom line Trayvon would be alive if Zimmerman would have stayed away.
This is what would make up the majority of the complaint against Zimmerman but the big problem with that is there's nothing, and I mean NOTHING that's been presented, in any form of evidence, suggests anything actually illegal about Zimmerman's conduct. To put a finer point on it, "following someone" in public is not, in and of itself, illegal. (Barring restraining order issues, etc)
Also can anyone explain where it says in the 'stand your ground' law, at what point are you allowed to actually follow anyone?
SYG (or No Duty To Retreat, which I think better expresses the intent) really isn't about "allowed" to follow or not. The point of NDTR is entirely based on reaction to attack. Two things here; first it's already been brought up by the guys that fathered incorporating NDTR that following someone in a manner that leads to a confrontation isn't what they had in mind. In this particular case though IF Martin jumped Zimmerman "blitz" style there would seem to be precious little issue about NDTR.
From Trayvons point of view, he had every right to defend himself if he felt he was being followed, which Zimmerman admitted to. Then we have the alleged confrontation that Zimmerman tells, but sadly we can't get Martins side of the story
