Will we ever hear from Dooley again?

With $5M coming to Dooley over the next few years, he will not be far from K-town. Just when we finally got paid off with Fulmer and his severance checks, we can start cutting new ones for Dooley. Add in the Pearl and baseball coach's checks and you think the school Board of Trustees would take note of the money we are throwing away on poor coaching choices (irregardless of record). I hope Hart chooses wisely to try and break up this string.

Steve Miller has a message for Dools

"Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run
Go on take the money and run "

He's gone. Let all of us on VN make deal and turn the page and not mention him anymore....It's over, he's gone, not coming back.....let's all take a deep breath and let it go...

I hear he's trying to become a recruiter for a team like South Alabama. He personally knows most the players those type of teams are going after since he tried to get them to come here...

no...he will move someplace far, far away, and we shall never hear from him again.

I was thinking driving to work this morning.......one of you old-timers, the final straw for Bill Battles was some kind of fake punt that didn't work from his own end of the field. Does anyone remember that?

As big of history buff as Derek was, he went and made the exact same tactical error. Letting your punter throw the ball for 20 yards from your own 28 yard line....gheez...a desperate man.

Was at the game. vs ga. bammer idiot #1 gave it away.

Dooley will be our next AD after the permanent Chaney hire by Hart. He will then hire Sunseri as our HC and the death of our program will be complete. Total sarcasm....i think?

You might hear him laughing all the way to the bank.

I do not blame him one bit for the $5mil buyout. UT should have never signed into a contract like that. My way of thinking is get all you can when you can. That was smart on Dooley's part. I appreciate what he done here but he was just not an SEC caliber coach. Wish him the best of luck in what ever he does next.

How is his buyout affected if he accepts another job? Does he still get the full buyout or would it be reduced? I never paid attention to the stipulations of this part of the contract until I realized how many people we are paying for not working.
