Will we ever see a starting quarterback from Tennessee in the nfl?

And played in 4šŸ˜‰ Won 5 MVPsšŸ˜Æ The absolute GOAT from UT. Yes, and I almost hate to say it, but greater than Pat Head Summit
I don't care for small ball, but I don't think anyone has ever done as much to build a sport in Knoxville as Pat did. How many people would have even cared about women's basketball if they hadn't just consistently been winning? I believe the question about NFL quarterbacks might have been intended to mean Heupel UT system quarterbacks.

I think if it were not for Jared Goff's good play (with the exception of throwing 5 INTs last week but still winning), Hooker might be starting for the Lions. He might have been a starter at other NFL teams. Definitely the Titans! Still wish they would have taken him over Levis.
Dobbs would start on the titans right now easily. And Goff is on the lions and is still way better than hooker at the moment. Takes a little time for some of these guys to figure it out. As for Milton I just donā€™t see it happening. All the tools but just not the playmaker or can diagnose at a high level like the nfl. I donā€™t think people realize itā€™s a whole other ball game especially when itā€™s the qb position. Look at geno smith and guys like darnold, put in the work and take advantage of their opportunities when in the game. Some players also just are not clutch which just like the NBA is a big deal. Biggest example is freaking Dak!!! I love to tell cowboy fans that he just will never get it done, what once was a regular season hero and playoff choker now doesnā€™t even want to be part of this team and is ā€œinjuredā€ team has no chemistry and are frauds. Titans lose every week and itā€™s expected šŸ˜‚ but dang did we shoot ourselves in the foot. Sure looks like D Hop, Henry, brown and all them donā€™t care but are balling out now for other teams. Itā€™s only gonna get worse and I miss Vrabel šŸ˜„ problem has been these offensive coordinators and the same mundane plays. At least he had us playing physical and could hold the line right there with the niners and others

Hooker can play at that level, but is sitting behind one of the nation's best QBs right now. Outside of a 5 INT game recently, Goff is playing like a man possessed. If the Lions continue to dominate and they stay comfortably ahead in the NFC north, then I would expect Hooker to get more chances to play and potentially start a junk game towards the end of the season if they want to keep Goff healthy for a postseason run.

Milton....I think his days of playing on active rosters will be limited at best. The Pats are a mess and he is not the QB who can fix them. He will enjoy a long career as a potential backup but most likely a practice squad QB. Still, he will make good money and always has the opportunity to get called up.

Nico has a real shot. He has the height, good developing arm talent, and is getting better at reading defenses especially post snap. However, he really needs some meat on those bones. I wince when he goes down because it is like seeing a giraffe get toppled. He is so stinking tall and lanky that he could get snapped at some point. He needs to stay healthy, protect his body instead of fighting for an extra yard, and get a little stronger. He doesnt have to be Josh Allen big, but getting beefier will help his durability against NFL defenses that would love to snap him in half.
You are a smart man, couldnā€™t have said it better. Gotta love the progress from Nico and will get better. I donā€™t think we are giving him enough long shots and yeah he has missed some but if these receivers are that good then letā€™s at least try. I donā€™t think they are. Brazzell been pissing me off because he is soft and I love squirrel but he is just undersized. Only dog out of them is our tight ends and Bru(who we donā€™t get involved enough). But I agree with whenever Nico takes off he usually has one good move and gains good yards but man you canā€™t get hit like that šŸ˜‚you are a twig and still small compared to these boys. Ask boo carter when he got planted by that punter. Our defense smashes people too though

The Titans can't do anything right as long as Amy is making important decisions.

Funny to think the Rams coach was so eager to get rid of Goff a few years ago. Amazing how good a QB can look with a strong supporting cast. I think Hooker would do just fine if he stepped in because the Lions have a lot of weapons on offense. Would also like to see how Dobbs would do at SF since they have solid receivers. Not sure Milton will get a chance in NE.

I don't why I thought Levis was taken in the first round. Hell, I was thinking they took him pretty early in the first round too šŸ¤
Amazing how all of these so called experts at evaluating talent and make millions of dollars keep making picks like this. What seems obvious to us is not seems to be ignored by the geniuses every year.

How do you know Hooker isnā€™t as good as Goff? That team is loaded with offensive playmakers. I think Hooker would put up similar numbers.

It's absurd to me that Hooker is sitting on a bench while so many terrible QB's around the league are starting.

Amen! It was obvious to me that Levis could not take the pressure while at UK. How the hell would you think it would be different in the NFL? šŸ¤Ŗ Hooker was the obvious best choice!
