Wimbledon starts tomorrow. My early picks are my girl Ivanovic and Federer. I really expect to see him break his slump. One of the Williams' sisters and I'll take Venus will make some SERIOUS noise at this Grand Slam.

For those interested only in the aesthetics of the women's game, Maria Sharapova has announced she's simplifying her wardrobe and will actually wear shorts. Hmmm.

hopefully by simple she means just enough to cover up.

for those with DirecTV, you can watch a mix channel of all courts or each individual court. channels are in the 700s. may or may not be in HD.

Interesting to see if Federer can bounce back to the whippin he got from Nadal at RG.
I think Nadal may be on the verge of making a move on the grass, he did beat Roddick at Queens Club.

The media made waaaay too big of a deal about that. Nadal was the runner up in each of the past two Wimbledons. He's better at Roddick on every kind of court right now. Nadal definitely has a chance to finally beat Federer this year seeing how much Federer has struggled so far and is/was battling mono, I just don't see it actually happening.

My Sharapova-loving friend wants a chance to win his money back on Wimbledon. I guess I'm honor-bound to wager him, though I can't say I like Ana's chances as well on grass. Ah well.

Ana's serve has come a long way in the past year and a half, but I'm with you. This surface is a tall order for Ana...

I think those two will be second place this year. I'll take Sharapova and Nadal.

Nadal is not beating a motivated Federer on grass.

Nadal is playing better than ever. Federer is not. Look at how close the match was last year.

7–6, 4–6, 7–6, 2–6, 6–2

As long as Nadal's knees hold up, he'll give Roger a run for his money.

Federer gave Nadal a run for his money at last year's French as well, but got absolutely smoked this year. I think Federer wins this thing in a waltz and Nadal won't see the final.

I look at that example as further evidence that Federer still isn't quite 100%.

I still don't think it matters. He starts ironing the unforced errors back out and he kills Nadal on all surfaces besides clay.

I can't get DirectTV.....too many trees,so I have to watch on ESPN2HD. My only problem with ESPN is they feel like they have to every second of the William sisters' every single match. So I'm rooting for their early exit. I would like to see Federer, Roddick or Safin on the men's and Ivonavic, Sharapova or Valdasova on the women's.
