Tennessee vs the B1G

Illinois - never played
Indiana - 2-0, Vols have won both meetings
Iowa - 2-1, Vols lost the first meeting and won the next two
Maryland - 5-3, The Terps were not members of the B1G for any of these meetings. The first was a won by the Terps in 1952, the Vols won the next 5, and MD won the following 2. The last meeting was the deflating 2002 Peach Bowl in which the listless Vols fell to the Terps, 30-3.
Michigan - 1-0, their only meeting in 2002, the Vols buried the Angry Weasels, 45-17
MSU - never played
Minnesota - 1-0, the Vols defeated the Gophers, 21-14 in 1986
Nebraska - 1-2, Their Nebs won the first two meetings in 1998 & 2000, before joining the B1G. The Vols were victorious in their latest contest, 38-24 at the 2016 Music City Bowl.
Northwestern - 2-0, large margins of victory in both their meetings. Paved 'em like the Magnificent Mile.
tOSU - 1-0, Vols cracked the Bucknuts, 20-14 in 1996.
PSU - 2-3, The Vols defeated the visiting Nittany Lions twice during the 70s while Bill Battle was coach. PSU has won all three ensuing bowl game match ups.
Purdue - 0-1, the Boilermakers won their only game with the Vols, 27-22 in 1979.
Rutgers - 3-1, the Vols lost to Rutgers in their first meeting (1979) and won the next 3 games. For all, Rutgers was not yet a member of the B1G.
Wisconsin - 2-0, Tennessee prevailed in 1981 and 2008.
