Windy's football discussion thread.

I still see a win going into every game, from the first game I listened to in the Battle years. I won’t budge on that.
Me too!

— although it’s possible that, for some games, I might have a bit more alkyhol on hand.

All those years as a Girl Scout and then as a Girl Scout leader taught me to be prepared!

I still get up and down during the games, but I would say I don't have to the same feelings like I did when we used to lose games. Never expect a win anymore.
Growing up I always expected the Vols would win and would stay furious for days when they lost. Since the last couple of years of Phillips run, through the idiot coaches Tennessee hired I go into every game with a wait and see attitude. Guess it makes losing a little easier and take a oh well lost another one outlook. Sad really.

Pull yo’ socks up, and put on yore big boy tighty-whities! The Vols are back, and it’s time to start expecting wins again!!

— dang, my phone does not appear to recognize SEC-speak.

Same! I'd replay the play in my head that would cost us games. Now there are too many of those plays 😄. Like you said though, makes losing easier. But then it makes unexpected wins that much more enjoyable!
