It is amazing how some teams can just make changes and it works so well.Of and about. Big upsets every week, but we get blowed out. Anybody can start a freshman and him be awesome, but us. Or bring in a 4th stringer, and not miss a beat. Why the heck can't we?!!
We have some UGA fans around here, but I cannot imagine what it's like being around that many where you are. I have a cousin who just moved down there somewhere near you, outside Chattanooga in northern GA. He told me the Alabama fans are actually worse than the Georgia fans wherever he is.I'm so sick!
After going to both uga and Bama, uga fans treated me much worse. We have some UGA fans around here, but I cannot imagine what it's like being around that many where you are. Both are bad.
I think the set up is different. Athens is a lot more compact and there is interaction between students and visitors along some of the main arteries between downtown and Sanford, particularly on Milledge. It's easier to dodge those interactions in Tuscaloosa.A couple of my best friends in grad school were UGA graduates. They're aok. I haven't been to Athens to a game in years, but I used to hate going down there.
I never really had issue with Alabama fans at games.
