Windy's football discussion thread.

I put the loss on Georgia being better than I and most in the FF want to admit.

By no means does that mean I thought we played a good game, but Georgia is for real. They caused alot of problems. Great teams wouldn't have had all the problems we did, but 1. We're not a "great" team 2. Great teams will have problems and might lose too.

It's football and we're just not there yet. That's a whole other story, but....sorry Mal, it is what it is.

Need a QB that can make fast decisions like Dobbs , I think BM could.

Dobbs drove me nuts with his play behind an even worse o-line. I remember a lot on this site agreed with me. He did know how to move around better to avoid the blitzes though. Yesterday was just the difference in 4 straight #1/2 recruiting classes vs 4 straight classes ranked in the mid-teens.

We all know about the qb issue. It's been mentioned. It's not the only issue. BM would not have won that game for us yesterday. Not fussing at you bro, just saying...bout sick of hearing JG JG JG.

IF is the middle word in life, but if the OL had been what we all thought it was and should be, I believe we could have won with JG. His stats over the last 3 games prove to me it's not ALL him.

Anyway. I could be wrong too. Maybe BM, JT or Bailey could have won it.

Jmo.

Still wonder why JP is married to JG the way he is. If they don't believe BM or JT could get it done, I'm not sure thats a good look on them. Idk. I guess I'm 1 in a 102 or so thousand with that same thought.

I think all of us were optimistic at the end of the 1st half. The offense played well enough to win through 2 quarters. UGA's Defense took the game over in the 2nd half. It isn't all on JG. He has well documented limitations but the line gave him no help.
