you can't make that kind of comparison. If you can't see that, I can't help you. Comparing now to any point prior is apples to oranges. Mauer was a sh** show. To quote Slice, "National Title winning coaches" are apparently deciding he still is.It's how one did last year starting against Georgia with less talent then a 4 year starter did this year with far better players around them. That is against Georgia states before BM got hurt dumbass. And I'm not sorry.
It’s a high floor, low ceiling problem. He’s good enough to win those we should but not enough to beat someone better. Coaches, I think especially defensive HC, like mistake free football.
Guys like Kiffin don’t mind to go gunslinging which can win you some games you shouldn’t.
I trust Pruitt but he is a defensive coach and the Goal line stop before half had me fired up. Just not sure why I keep getting punished by a QB for 4 years and possibly a 5th year next year.I remember in 1994 riding the shuttle back to the car at the civic colosseum listening to a LOT of the "experts" talking about how Peyton was only playing bc of his name and how Branndon Stewart was the superior QB. Those people purported to know more than David Cutcliffe. Wife says to this day she could hear me grinding my teeth I was so aggravated at them. I don't remember doing that. But I have always believed the coaches make the best decisions based on what they see in practice.
It’s pretty sad when the Zone is the last refuge of civil and (mostly) sane discussion.Yea and that's what I meant earlier. No doubt JG is the best choice to lead us into the battle. I don't feel like our complete battle plan is as good as it should be with the Generals we have planning them. I'm don't mean it as FF type whining, I'm genuinely interested, confused, frustrated and excited all rolled up together. I guess they call that being a fanatic. ?? Lulz.
At least it can be discussed here in a civil manner. And that's all this is ... discussion.
