Windy's football discussion thread.

In the beginning, TAMU wasn’t coed, males only. Yell Leaders were an informal group of guys who stirred up the spirit of the Aggie fans through a series of yells, loud chants that fans could easily learn and do. To garner attention, the fellas would perform stylized movements, some awkward, even clownish.

Time passed. TAMU became coed. A cheer squad was formed featuring women, but the tradition of yell leaders carried on. Um, yeah.

Be glad you’re a Vols fan.

The strange thing is that by losing 48-21 to Deion U., the Knights could be even more of a threat to Florida’s ego and Napier’s job security.

It would have been bad enough to lose to an unbeaten and ranked UCF team. Imagine if the freshly humiliated Knights stick it to the Gators at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium?

“We’re going to beat them good,” Jackson Morse said.

It would be epic if the fightin freezes stomp the dog chit out of Georgia on Saturday.

NGAF and Thanks Jimmie, but my list of hopeful winners Saturday:
Vols by fiddy over Arky
aTm over the Dinky Drinks
Aubies over UGA
So Car over Ole Sis
Vandy over Bubba
Malzahns over Gheyters

GO VOLS

Edit: Idiots Out Wandering Around over Ohio State and Cal Bears over Penn State

Wen we winnin it's so much more enjoyable to look at the schedules and think what could happen.....

I wasn't sure where to post this but this is a former Vol Chavis Smith's food truck around the oak ridge area.... That fella does a great job cooking!
I highly recommend it!!

Ok, trying to catch up on the important things.
(1) Why is Mizzou ranked ahead of the Vols when all their wins are at home?
(2) Why is aTm ahead of Texas with a loss, even through they have do have a better conference record, but are 4-1 instead of 5-0?

My brain is pretty raddled, so don’t laugh if I’m missing something obvious

That's just converence standings.
Both Mizzou and UT have one conference win. It's just alphabetical, I would think, but that doesn't explain LSU unless they are doing "The Louisiana State University."
If it's not, it looks like it reverts to total wins and total losses (why Texas at the top).
A&M is the only team with two conference wins.
