Why are they protecting Texas?

The cynical side of me (aka the voices in my head) says it's the conference front offices, not just the SEC, doing what they can to protect their best prospects for the CFP. Take Miami as a prime example, imo.

Actually it wasn’t. They made a ruling. It’s not reviewable. They changed their mind after a stoppage because people threw **** on the field and then changed the call based on looking at the Jumbotron. It was a bad call but never should have been reversed. That creates an unfair advantage to Texas as no other penalties are reviewed. Just now they refuse to reverse an obvious mistake on calling Georgia short of the TD.

This is all true..But I can't help but feel a smidgeon of pride for Junior.
