Wrong angle to see the hit for determining targeting, but
1. Kentucky player struck with the crown of his helmet which knocked the ball out
2. KY player did impact K’s body with his own
3. That should have been called a TD. K had possession of the ball when it crossed the goal line and foot on the ground in the endzone when struck
I saw one predicting us playing Indiana and another predicting a game in South Bend. That would be classic

My observation and argument are that K did complete the catch, possessing the ball across the goal line, and having foot contact with the ground in the endzone before he was struck by the defender. At that moment before impact, the requirements for a touchdown were met. Impact was after the fact. The consequence of the ball being knock free was moot.you have to complete the catch, and maintain control of the ball. if that was a catch, it would have been a turnover & a touchback.
The replay from the correct angle showed it was a clean hit on the ball with the shoulder, at least IMO.My observation and argument are that K did complete the catch, possessing the ball across the goal line, and having foot contact with the ground in the endzone before he was struck by the defender. He dropped the ball prior to making a football move. Didn't control the ball to the ground. Got his **** rocked and dropped it. It wasn't a ****ing catch.OK, those of you who do not agree with my contention that a TD was achieved before the KY defender hit K and knocked the ball loose, cite the specific requirement(s) that you think were not met.
