I don’t think that there were 10 teams better than the Vols last season and question the attention span of those who didn’t rank the Vols in the top ten.

It’s because most people have never played the game and have no idea what they’re looking at.
They say dumb **** like “we didn’t adjust because we didn’t blitz enough “

In the Georgia game we switched up what we wer doing with the D ends 4 different times. Ultimately they had an answer for everything we did.

There’s just way more too it than “we were in zone and should have been in man” or “we should blitz more “

In the Georgia game we couldn’t get pressure on the QB because when we squeezed they were fast enough to get on the corners. When we stacked to adjust for that they killed us up the middle. Every team is different and sometimes you just don’t match up well with some teams but do with others.
Ga and OSU were matchup nightmares this year.
Bama not so much

It’s just not worth talking about with people who have never played and don’t know what they’re looking at

A finalist for your Broyles award never "made adjustments '. I mean just think logically about what some dumbass is claiming. I'm not an expert in football play calling but do we really think he never made defensive adjustments? Sometimes teams are just better than you. It doesn't necessarily mean he did anything wrong. Lol

Thanks. I never played but I’m trying to pay more attention to what we’re doing versus just yelling blitz every other down.
