This Wisconsin group needs to pay attention to this issue already being argued over. Other groups have fought similar instances and have lost. The next county over from me went through this a few years ago. Except for PR not sure why they would even bring this up.

I don't get why someone would have a problem with the Ten Commandments. Even if you don't believe in God, Commandments 2-10 are ideas that should be embraced by everyone.

then let's just rename them "Common sense rules to live by" and make everyone happy

Good luck if they head to Hawkins County.

They better send people that they don't mind if they ever return to Wisconsin.

Those Hawkins County people are different folk.

It is one of things that people should not worry about. Gov't isn't in the business to spread the gospel. Christians need to quit being lazy.

+1 to that

I made mention of that to some family members once....that conversation did not go well....at all.

I believe us Scott County folk could take them in a fight. Any day of the week.

Nothing says "Christianity" like beating the hell out of folks that disagree with you.

This and the like drives me crazy. It is like marriage, why in the world would any one want the gov't to define marriage.

Ah, a kindred spirit.....(kinda scares me actually).

Yes, I really do wish Christians in America had put forth half of the effort the last....20 years into actually doing what Jesus said do instead of fighting politics and laws in the US.

How do you think Christanity spread so far and wide back in the day? I believe they were called The Crusades?

Actually, Christianity spread far and wide before the Crusades were even thought of. If you are comparing 'converts' during the Crusades, Islam far surpassed Christianity during that period.

It doesn't matter what I think. This is war. But now it's not swords. It's suicide vests and roadside bombs.

sure it matters. Should the people in Rogersville now start planting IED's? I hope they give some warning because I would hate to hit one on my way to the lake

Well played. I don't think anyone want's that on our home soil. If that were to happen, I'd sure like it to happen on the way to work and not on the way to the lake.

Sure, let's post Sharia law in Rogersville.

I'm sure the town would be absolutely thrilled.

Who cares? If someone's trying to post Sharia law, that problem can be addressed there. If someone in Rogersville is seriously offended by the Ten Commandments, that problem can also be addressed.
