Dude was crying. Between this, the girl slapping Barrett and all the death threats to walker on Facebook and twitter, what is going on over there?

Weren't the exit polls a lot further off than the advance polls though?

Apparently - otherwise I can't explain why everyone in the press claimed it would be a "late night" and D pundits felt it would be very close at the end.

It was called much sooner than expected and that points to flawed exit polls.

To me the interesting take away is that the exit polling data showing a 9 point lead for Obama are likely off too.

So...Wisconsin actually liked their governor after all....imagine that.

Sure it is politics. You win some and you lose some, but it will be hard for the dems to downplay the significance of this. They are the ones who told us how important the issue was in the first place.

Don't you think the Dem's should have gotten someone besides Barrett to run?

I can't tell whether Walker won because people liked his policies, were annoyed by the unions using the recall mechanism as an end-run around regular election cycles, or what.

Heard Walker on MSNBC this morning with Chuck Todd and he was gracious about it. Wouldn't back off of union busting policies, but said he would make the case stronger to the public on the next issue and be more transparent rather than just take action.

So this wasn't a clear referendum on the way the governor handled the unions? Funny...if the dems had won, I would think that would be the unified message we would be getting today.
