Anybody got September 15th circled on next year's calendar?
I know the Cal trip will probably be tough, although I, admittedly, do not know how many starters they'll be losing. Other than the Florida game, the SEC schedule reminds me of a particular Southern breakfast favorite made with greasy meat, flour, milk, and cracked black pepper.
From a team that might be the most overrated in college football in the last decade.Just based on the starting 22 in the preseason, they will have 2 SRs graduating and JR RB Marshawn Lynch will almost certainly leave for the NFL.
Their defense loses 5, unless SR CB Tim Mixon gets a medical redshirt. I don't think he will, but I'm just guessing.
So, after a very short look, they should return
8 off starters
6 def starters
for those who were earlier talking about talent....once Urban Meyer gets what he needs, he may be Spurrier-like in his ability to beat UT. Another SEC championship could be a long way down the line. It might not happen until Randy Sanders is the head football coach at his alma mater.
