If it is an acl the trainers can usually diagnose it very easily without having to wait on the MRI

Well duh...they always do for injuries like that. Just because they test for it doesn't mean anything really. Other than he got hit on the knee really hard.

Never said it did. In fact, in my first post I said I'm sure they do with all knee injuries. It's a quick test to administer and in many cases the trainer will have a good idea if something is structurally wrong.

Someone make a sticky thread with injury updates to Pearson and Wolf --- straight from UT insiders only ---

Fwiw, I met some of Ethan Wolf's family at the Downtown Marriott lobby last Sunday afternoon prior to the Utah St game...His whole family traveled down from Ohio to see him and were all very nice people (and tall)...Let's hope the best for him.

Kinda looks intentional from that photo.

It's how DB's are taught to tackle big guys, if they go high, they bounce off. I don't think the db was being dirty, anymore than we were being dirty against lattimore. It's just one of those crappy things that happen sometimes.

Wolf was on the stationary bike on the sideline about a quarter after the injury. He was going pretty slow, but he was at least pedaling. I don't see them putting him on the bike if they thought it was an ACL?
