99/100 the man will end up in jail. I have a friend whose girlfriend got pissed at him and grabbed a kitchen knife and put a 5 inch slash across his chest and was still on the attack. He hit her once shattering her jaw and knocking her unconscious. He called the cops and ambulance. Cops arrested him having only heard his story because she was in surgery. Charges were never filed, but if you search the guy on the internet his mugshot comes up for domestic violence. It is always best to walk away from a physical confrontation with a woman.

There's a big difference between the former and the latter boldened. Egress is certainly the preferred and much more prudent choice but when somebody introduces a weapon the equation changes drastically IMO.

I think that he was absolutely was within his rights and shouldn't have been arrested, but the reality of the situation is that the man will usually be arrested in a domestic situation.

Perhaps, primarily I'm pointing out how once a weapon is brought into play worrying about arrest can be cleared up after you've kept yourself from serious injury or worse. I don't see the logic in explaining to the EMT's "Well at least I didn't hit a girl." when they're trying to get your intestines stuffed back inside your abdomen.

Things stop being funny when weapons are involved, gender be damned.

I have a friend (more like a second father) that works for swat.... he has taught me that there is a difference between a legitimate threat and a illegitimate threat... depends on the stature of the woman... fat enough to not be able to get off the ground doesn't qualify... for me at least....

Their was a man (a lot bigger than this woman) yelling back and forth with this woman that was mad about something anyway..... long story short girl punches guy and then the guy picked girl.... I then go and drop him... would you say I was out of places for hitting the guy?

My preference is to respect women, and treat them as the weaker sex. However, this contradicts the egalitarian push from progressives.

My experience is that many women want to have their cake and eat it too.
They want the privileges of being a woman that come from complimentarianism but want to egalitarian benefits as well.

most likely know each other....I don't think this chick would have the dude repeatedly in the head, neck, face....if she thought he might hit back. Most women probably use the same logic...they just miscalculate the "no-more" point.

In my eye I saw a threat toward the woman and a man that was much more threatening to the woman then the other way around... I detained the threat... I didn't have time to wait and see if he stopped hitting her or if he had any serious intentions.... I don't stand for hitting women and of course there is no blanket statement you can make to say "this is what I will do" because life doesn't work like that... just because you can do something doesn't mean you should...

A lot of these guys, and girls, sign up for bat***t crazy. You pretty much see the signs just a short time into a new relationship with someone. Started dating this girl in college. There were signs early on, like getting mad I didn't let her know when I was done studying or when I got off work if I had gone to work out. Only been dating a few weeks, less than two months, when we had a big party at our house in the Fort. She came unglued when these girls walked in and I hugged one of them that I had known my whole life. I mean, it was embarrassing. But more so for her when I told her it was my cousin. I jettisoned that nut bag. I had a feeling she would have gotten physical eventually.
