Greenbay is 28-4, 16-2 in conference with both losses coming to Oakland. Can someone please mail Holly the game film from those games?

Total disrespect-- having the LVs travel cross-country for a 7 seed. If they're going to give UK a 3 seed, the LVs deserved a 6 seed after making it to the SEC semis.

Kentucky has a better record than Tennessee and they defeated the Lady Vols in the one and only matchup. The Lady Vols had a terrible season and I think a 7 seed is fair. It just goes to show how far this program has fallen. There will not be much to argue if we loose in the first round.

Then they should withdraw. It's not worth the money to travel cross-country to be one and done. If they're going to put them at 7 seed, then they should have put them closer to home, since geographic proximity was a key factor this year.

I'm just thankful it's NOT UConn! They would of beat us like a drum. Green Bay runs a Motion offense and this could be a tough match up if we don't score. 48 points will NOT do it!

Green Bay defends like it's their job and their lives depend on it

I'm not sure when it will happen, but we will fold like a cheap suitcase fairly early in the tourney--probably second game, could be at some point in the first game. That Warlick steel! We have the mental toughness of a marshmallow near an open flame. It's not going to change until we get a real staff.

7 seeds go wherever they can to play it is as simple as that.We are lucky to be a 7 seed and be able to go across country to play....you should be thankful that they are being given the opportunity.

South Florida is a 6 seed and I think they travel to California. I think the geographical proximity has to do more with the 1-4 seeds, after that it's a toss up.

You may be correct about game 2 but they have to get by Green Bay and that will be tough to do.If they play like they did against LSU,Bama and Miss state Green Bay will likely beat them.

Traveling cross-country as a 6 seed has better odds of making it to the Sweet 16. Traveling cross-country as a 7 seed to lose in the 2nd round isn't worth the trip. No fans are going to travel for that.

The selection committee has now went 9 tournaments without pairing TN and Uconn. It's clear the committee couldn't care less about that matchup. Only some fans do and maybe ESPN who clearly has no sway with the selection committee. Good for the committee I say.

The LVs don't deserve anything. They're a 7 seed based on the name and history of the program.

Record says that they did not deserve to even be selected

I disagree. There are 64 teams in the tournament. 44 of these teams aren't ranked in the top 20. Meaning they aren't really very good and are in the tournament by virtue of the automatic bid or to fill out the bracket.

TN may not be very good either, but they had a great SOS and good RPI and a couple of quality wins in a power conference. A 7 seed means the committee thinks they are roughly the 28th best team in the country. I think that's about right.

We're lucky not to have been embarrassed by the huskies in recent years.

I agree but I really hate I didn't get to see Jones try and guard Stewart.....I've always thought the only person in the country that could possibly give her problems would have been Jasmine.

Would not in the least be surprised to see this team lose to Green Bay. Listening to our head coach attempt pre-game inspirational and motivational speeches is about as moving as listening to some poor soul with Tourette syndrome! A Tennessee team would never have quit on Pat Summitt, but they quit several times this season on this coaching staff...I won't stutter...it's time for a change.

Luck has nothing to do with it. The LVs would have been a 7 or 8 seed if they had lost every game in the SECT. They beat aTm to advance to the semis and stayed a 7 seed-- even though UK and MSU moved up in seeding and both are hosting. Based on the LVs SOS and RPI, the LVs could have been bumped to a 6 seed or scheduled closer to home as a 7 seed. A bad draw and no fan support is going to make it tougher for this team to win. If fans don't care, maybe the team doesn't, either.

You're acting like they're the only team that has to travel and play on the road.

Washington(Seventh seed) has to travel to Maryland, Miami(Five seed) has to travel to Stanford California, Florida state(five seed) has to travel to college station Texas, Oklahoma state(Seventh seed) has to travel to Corvallis Oregon, Florida(Five seed) has to travel to Syracuse NY, BYU(Seventh seed) has to travel to Austin Texas, Michigan state(Four seed) is on the road while Mississippi state(Five seed) is hosting.
