Old news. Needs attention. Humor him for a few days. If he goes elsewhere, so be it. Do we need another Kelley Washington, Ocho Cinco or a TO? Would be nice to have his talent to play for us.

Bottom line is waiting could bite him in the a$$. Regardless we will take a sure thing over a maybe or perhaps. If we have 27 (or whatever the #) wanting to sign tomorrow, then we will take the 27. I think this kid may be a drama queen, but I also think that he doesn't want to be forced into a situation. He'll choose primetime in the SEC over UNC if you ask me. Whichever choice he makes will be whats best for him, and we can't argue with that. BUT COME ON MARKEITH, CHOSE THE VOLS BABY!!!

Question: Would these recruiting soap operas be what they are without the the fans that play into them? Hmmmm, I wonder..

We are the 'fans' that create mile long threads that encompass everything from praise to damnation (depending on the recruits latest tweet or post on facebook).

Next time we feel like b!tching about recruit xyz because he's not acting the way we think he should. Maybe we should step back, take a deep breath and get over ourselves. We are as much to blame as the recruit, maybe more.

Let's remove our halos' and stop badmouthing these kids and let them make their own decision, THEIR WAY..

Markeith...if you're reading... Just know, "a bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush" and the Vols are not going to wait on a drama queen if that's your game. Go ahead and try your luck waiting past tomorrow. All it does, after all this drama...is solidify many folks perception that you've got the Terrell Owens syndrome...and we're not talking about talent on the field.

To play at a high level in the SEC and in the pros...you better be a team player and have your head on straight. Trying to draw attention to yourself is not what your Dad has taught you, I'm sure. Take his advice and learn that character means as much as talent. One without the other...and you're stinking it up.

So I guess you think Bryce Brown and David Oku have Terrell Owens syndrome as well.

I don't recall either being drama queens. They just wanted more time. Not the point here...if you think this staff is going to hold out a scholly for someone that's been trying to play around and make a game of it all, you're quite mistaken.

Dude...FWIW, why don't you spare yourself and me some time and put me on your ignore list. I'm doing the same right now. You don't like me and I damn sure don't like you.

Good grief, why don't you climb down off your high horse...

Thanks for that, if someone told me what my father taught me, I'd tell them to **** off. And I wish someone would do the same to you.

Pathetic. No one cares about your self righteous BS.

We are going to be just fine either way. I am at the point now that I am tired of hearing about him and his drama. Either he signs or not. No biggie.

Good grief.....I'll say what damn well please, thank you very much. I said I'm sure his dad didn't teach his son to try and draw attention to himself. No decent father would. Is that Ok enough for you? Look at the Corey Miller's and J. Smith's. They are level headed, humble young men...and not just because they've already made their decisions, but because they aren't trying to make the whole process more of a spectacle than it already is.

Look at Eric Berry for a REALLY good example...he's probably going to be among the top 3 picks overall in the the NFL draft, and a folk hero around here. Despite all this, you can tell he was raised right cause he has exemplified what it means to have character...he's remained humble. I've never seen him act in such a way as to draw attention to himself.
