World Series: Texas Rangers vs. St. Louis Cardinals

I love the Ranger manager - he's hilarious

Dude doesn't mince emotions. I'm just loving the fact a guy who's been belittled many times in his career is getting the best of Tony LaRussa thus far.

Game isn't over, though.

Lynn is proof that no matter the velocity, if it's flat it gets stomped.

Blocking bases is celebrated and taught. But you're correct, it's illegal. But it's likelihood of being called are slim to none in the regular season. In the WS, it's a snowball's chance in hell.

I've seen it called once, maybe twice in a regular season game. It's incomprehensible that baseball's willing to have rules on its books that are still theoretically in effect but which get ignored 99% of the time. The whole umpiring/replay/rulebook situation in baseball is embarrassing.

It really is. The umpiring, from the ones in the front office to the rookies, suck. Inconsistencies abound throughout.

Umpiring in the MLB is a complete joke. But it always has been.

Edit: 7-4 might be insurmountable.

Lazy ass move by Molina costs the Cards a run. Couldn't happen to a better clown.
