Worley after Four Games

He has 93 Completions on 155 Attempts for 985 Yards
9 Tds 3 Picks and a 118.83 Efficiency

He has done this while being sacked 11 times and also while being pressured constantly.

Hats off to this young man. His poise and toughness is something to admired. I have no doubt at all he will get us to a bowl this year.

Hats off to Worley!

I'd go with Worley 10 times out of 10. Worley is a true leader, unlike Bray. How many times could we all tell from Brays body expressions that he had pretty much just quit, or didn't really care?

Yep. Bray had a lot of talent and lost to Vandy and Kentucky. Worley gets a lot more out of the talent he has and is a much more solid and stable QB.

Not bad considering some media outlets had him as the worst quarterback in the SEC. That kid has shown incredible heart and determination this year.

Who in the conference is better than Worley ATM? Miss States QB and maybe Bamas? Not sold on Bo Wallace or any of the other east QBs.

It honestly wouldn't shock me if he ends up getting drafted in April. His progress has been amazing.

Worley has been excellent this year and tough as nails. I just hope the guy doesn't end the season in a full body cast.

He's got that Brett Favre toughness

Funny that you said this cause i made the same comparison during the okie game. It reminded me of the nfc championship game, vikes vs saints when they were trying to kill favre but he just kept getting back up and making throws. Hes my fav qb of all time so its probably a big reason why im starting to like worley more and more. If only he had the arm and wheels of a young favre...

No kidding, I hope our O-Line gels soon because he won't make it the entire season taking as many hits as he has.

I am not one who wants to bash Coach Jake and Mahoney, but if those guys aren't getting it done and they're the best we got, then we need to scheme or gameplan, something, to keep him from getting hit so much.

At least 3 times on Worley and at least once on Peterman I saw hits that genuinely made me cringe. Absolutely brutal.

At this rate, Justin will quietly amass a 3,000-yard passing season with 27 touchdown passes. That would be roughly fifth on the all-time single season passing yardage board for Tennessee quarterbacks and tied for fourth in touchdown passes for a single season (see p. 185 of ISSUU - 2014 Tennessee Football Media Guide by The University of Tennessee Athletics Department). Based on last year, very few people would have predicted such a season for Justin. He truly is earning every accolade that is coming his way the hard way.

Favre had chemically enhanced toughness.

Like Wolverine! You know, Worley is not usually clean shaven, and Wolverine also has facial hair. And they both have the ability to come back after crushing hits.... oh my sweet baby Jesus.....

JUSTIN WORLEY IS WOLVERINE!?!?!??!?!!!

Worley or Bray? Who you got?

Bray had the arm and Worley has the nuts

Worley. Bray was never a leader. Bray never had the maturity Worley did. And Bray never took a beating like Worley did and just kept playing right on through.

Bray had talent. But Worley has talent and character, and I wish so badly we had him for another year.

Could we appeal the NCAA and just say "Dooley did it."

I feel like that should be a legit reason to give a redshirt.

Hey, if the rest of the team approves and backs him that's all that counts.

He is truely the leader of this offense, and a real warrior on the field without him this team goes nowhere and gets beat by everyone in the SEC except Vandy.

My concern is that he won't make it through the season because this line keeps allowing opposing team to tee off on him. It would really surprise me to see him make it through the entire season without getting injured. Peterman and Dobbs need to take note and be ready in case Worley does go down.

JW has been through so much turmoil and total hell since he arrived on the hill.

He's stood strong and worked hard the entire time and remained totally loyal to our Tennessee Vols.

The young man has earned every bit of respect he's now getting and more!

He's just more proof that people here on VN shouldn't get so down and belittle so many of our younger players because you never know when the light will come on and they'll become a really good player for us.

The CROOMSTER gave his all for us today and he made some good plays and should have also earned some respect from us today.

He still has 2 more years so we never know what can happen but he could turn into 1 of our most dangerous weapons before he graduates too.

We need to be more supportive and stop bashing on these kids so much!

They're busting their tails so the rest of us can sit back and watch our beloved Vols get better and better.

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!
