Uhhhhhhh high school and the SEC are two completely different animals, BUT I hope you are right though.

Agreed but my point was in my 1st sentence. In the right offense. Hopefully Jak and CBJ have done that.

Wasn't Cromp daddy the #1 ranked pro style QB coming out of high school?

Crompton was raised in Asheville, North Carolina and played two seasons at Clyde A. Erwin High School in Asheville. Before his junior season, Crompton moved to Waynesville, North Carolina in 2003 to finish his high school career at Tuscola High School. He was a Parade All-American in his senior season at Tuscola. In 2003 and 2004 he was the named to the 3A All-State, All-Western and All-Mountain Athletic Teams, as well as being two-time player of the year. In 2004 he threw for 2,423 yards and 24 touchdowns on his way to an invite to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, where his performance earned him the "Army of One" award.

Stats weren't nearly as impressive however 1 year in the right system and he played pretty well under the coach who I don't mention any longer.

I hope your are correct. Is it strange he didn't have a offer from any instate school in SC? Typically with those accomplishments I would take that as a bad sign.

Let's let bygones be bygones. Let's not bicker about who killed who. I once built a castle in the swamp when everyone told me it can't be done...it sank into the swamp. I built a second castle...it sank into the swamp, I built a third castle...it caught on fire, fell over and sank into the swamp. But the fourth castle... It stayed!!!! And that's what your gonna get laddy, the strongest castle in all of Knoxville!
