This statement fails to take into account Ozzie's version of "Take me out to the Ballgame" at Wrigley, Roseanne's "National Anthem", and the track star who's name escapes me at the moment assassinated the Anthem as well.

That being said, yeah the grrrowl was awful.

When Roseanne sang the National Anthem, every one in the ballpark got up to leave.

They thought the game was over. :eek:lol: :eek:lol:

I haven't gotten to beat the horse yet!

The call in the 2000 UF game DIRECTLY awarded the points to UF to win the game. While they MAY have scored on subsequent plays there is no doubt that the bad call DIRECTLY awarded the game to UF.

The calls in 2004 (one subjective, one objective) ENHANCED UT's chance to win the game but did not DIRECTLY award the points.

To say that one is "owed" another "objective" bad call is ridiculous. The magnitude of the 2000 call by virtue of it's DIRECT impact covers the subjective and objective component of the 2004 call(s).

To repeat - the call in the 2000 game GAVE points to UF. The call(s) in the 2004 INCREASED THE LIKELIHOOD that UT would get points.

Quoted for truth, accuracy, and intelligence.

Very well put.

Have you guys ever seen a game in Lexington? Their "siginature" call is "First Down, Kentucky," and while I understand that for decades, first downs have been a rarity at UK, the sheer fact that this would be the event they highlight, with no imagination or variation, puts it, in my opinion, right there with Roseanne.

Ozzy gets a pass because he has been in a drug induced ambulatory coma since 1977.

EXACTLY . . . No matter how bad a call is, they DO even out in the long run.

Most of the time I would agree with this..but the 03 UF/F$U game was the worst officiated game I've ever seen..period.

I refer to that game as "fumble gate". Holy sh!t the refs missed so many fumbles. The gators would have won by 3 or 4 td's in that game.....but we have seen the squander a 28 point lead to FSU with 12:28 left in the 4th quarter.
