we've all been spoiled by the Jon Ward's, Bobby Denton's, Mike Hammond's, Mike Keith's, and yes to an extent Brent Hubbs as little as he's on the radio. id pay to listen to him over cheggerboard bob all day.

im too lazy for a poll. but im interested in opinions lf the masses. who you got? heather doesnt get a vote bc shes much better looking than any other personalities, and THAT fellas goes a lot farther in that business, than you think.

Such a hard question because there are so many who are absolutely terrible at their job. I'll give it to Hyams over Dearstone by the thinnest of margins, because of the outright hypocrisy of the guy. He pretends to be a real journalist, but is just an absolute tool for the sports information department at UT. He'll set aside his integrity to defend any sitting UT coach or AD and preach about how no one can make any judgements or criticisms for an arbitrary timespan, but then he's more than happy to call for a kid to be kicked off the team. Some "journalist", that guy is.

Doc is just trying to stir the pot by staying on the opposite side of the fence on a lot of things. That said, Jeff is the only one that really has a clue about sports on there and he still doesn't know much.

Good list. Doc and Hooker are awful. Doc is such a homer. Will West is either good or horribly bad. He needs a good tail whippin' at times to knock his arrogance down a notch. I cannot stomach Heather at all. When I hear her whine or pretend she understands something I want to throw the radio. I never listen to Tony anymore, his style gets on my nerves.

I hated Doc, Jeff and Heather.

3 minutes of talking followed by 7 minutes of ads. I literally counted. That show is not worth listening to.

If I listen to talk radio, I want to listen to people who actually know what they're talking about. That show, I'm pretty sure that terrypedigo and NO SIR EEE could do a better job.

Here in Nashville we have Clay Travis, George Plaster & his vandie pukes, Mark Howard & Frank "Whine"-check, ad nauseum. Thank goodness for Coach Doug Matthews on the weekend radio shows. No, I don't like Buckeye Bob, either.

I live in Nashville too, but stream Knoxville radio. I don't want to hear about Vandy

Live out of state but to get a well rounded viewpoint I listen to SIRIUS College sports radio and their NFL radio station during off season so I do not have to listen to PRO B-ball or Hockey talk. NFL radio gets me thru a football less spring and summer.

Basilio for me. I just don't care for his over the top New Jersey "Guido" shtick. When he used to be on TSR, he annoyed me to no end.

You either love or hate Tony Basilio. I love him because he is entertaining! He loves the Vols and is not afraid to admit it. And He is like a pro wrestling manager all mouth and no action.

3HL absolutely destroys anything in Knoxville.. They don't care about Vandy, they just like good stories and drama. And right now, the new UT/Vandy drama draws listeners..

I agree about 3HL being good, entertaining radio, even though I've come to literally hate Clay Travis. I actually like The Midday 180 a little better. Enjoy The Wakeup Zone too despite that condescending liberal prick Mark Howard.
