Worst officiated game in Tenn history

Very frustrating that Two fouls that were not called on Arizona when we got back within 4 and were driving to the basket and on the subsequent rebound. Refs swallowed their whistles and let them foul us without repercussions.
Not to mention the numerous “charging” calls on us when the AZ players never had their feet set!

Fouls:
Tennessee 24
Arizona 15

The issue I notice is the inconsistencies between calling touch fouls on Tennessee and allowing Arizona to hand check. I understand giving the home team the benefit, but the refs made it a point to allow Arizona to do what they wanted. I still love our teams toughness.

Well, I watched early on, but zoned out. Guess I missed getting angry. Sounds like Vols got screwed by zebras. Should I watch replay?

Can Barnes get this game looked at by NCAA and have it ruled as a No Contest since the refs were obviously showing favoritism? Keep our record at 1 loss. Arizona was allowed to play prison rules in this game while we weren’t. This was the worst officiated game I’ve seen us in this season. We deserve the L against Colorado, refs gave us this L against Arizona.

I’m not one for blaming officiating, but that was a mess. The numbers don’t lie, as mentioned above. 24 to 15 in fouls called and a discrepancy of 17 free throws!?! There would be sequences where we drove to the cup and got absolutely hammered at the rim, no call, and then they would recover the ball and get a call on a far less egregious offense. I took note of this a few times.

If you go back to about the 8 min mark, the color guys start talking about us “getting dominated” in free throw attempts and points off FT as if it’s something we did, and that’s before some of the worst calls.
