Gruden is still a joke. Saban, Les miles or even Franklin scared him to death. Even you offered him 6M, he does not dare to accept it.

Biggest overreaction in posting in a long while is more like it.

Google Mike Price, Damon Evans if you want to see PR disasters that our rivals have been through. That's not even considering the PSU, Baylor, and Duke sports disasters that have occurred recently. That is just off the top of my head.

You're not even reading the posts in your own thread:

Thats just flat out dumb. This episode has been child's play. Remember when . . .

Rich Rod turned down Alabama?
Les Miles did a 180 on Michigan?
Bama had to unload Mike Price before he even coached a game?
Notre Dame had to fire George O'Leary over his résumé?

This is a mess, but it ain't the worst.

Yet.

I understand that those were bad situations....I get that! But all these other "disasters" happened before social media was ever really thought about! Twitter, facebook, and listening to Knoxville sports talk on your phone when you live in California was completely forgien! This whole thing is a PR disaster! UT is a laughing stock!

Imagine this situation except 3 weeks later. That was Alabama right before Saban was hired.
