Worst President's First 100 Days in History

McCain or Romney would have been suitably average presidents. Neither horrible or awesome. Actually I was really excited for McCain before he selected Palin as his running mate because he had a solid history of working well with both parties. I was hoping for a unifier in office. His selection of Palin still baffles me though.

Romney would have been infinitely better than Obama

I voted for Romney, so I agree. He just wasn't exciting at all. He was too tame and a bit too RINO to energize his base. His lack of charisma hurt him a lot, but I think he would have been a good president if he could have overcame that and won.

I agree. His problem was that he was RHINO. Republicans keep nominating RHINOS and that is not what the base wants

I ease my conscious with the knowledge that had it not been Obama, it would have been someone much worse. I did my part to avert that catastrophe. You're welcome.

Obama bombed 7 countries. W bombed 4. Obama tried to renegotiate Bush's agreed upon departure from Iraq. It's not "knowledge", it's a bad guess.

Donald Trump’s First 100 Days: The Worst on Record

"...Here’s my reading of Trump’s start: It’s the least successful first 100 days since the concept existed.

Even if you forget about the content of his actions — whether they strengthened or weakened the country — and focus only on how much he accomplished, it’s a poor beginning. His supporters deserve to be disappointed, and his opponents should be cheered by how unsuccessful his agenda has been so far."

Yep. I gotta say that I was worried Trump would screw up our country. Turns out he's just screwing the folks who voted for him.

So NAFTA's not being scrapped after all.

Oh Boy. 'Ole Donny may not deliver on a single promise.

This has to sting. At what point do the trump sycophants stop showing up to lick his boots?

You'll need to break people up.

There were few strictly pro Trump people. The ones that stood behind every idea. They're probably upset.

There are those complete against Trump even if he were to single handedly cure cancer. They should be happy, but are their usual retarded selves.

There are those who voted for Hillary just because they oppose Trump, not because they like Hillary. They should be happy so far, but aren't.

There are those who supported Trump because no way in hell they wanted Hillary. They're probably sleeping soundly.

There are those that hate all the above and they're upset because they're always upset and never offer realistic ideas.

Yep, you apparently couldn't have preferred Trump to Clinton without supporting every single on of his points and ideas according to the liberals here and the media.

Nah, you can qualify it if it helps you to sleep easier - I don't need to do anything. He's a top shelf bozo, there's really no grey are here.

When he cure's cancer, let me know - I'll change my opinion of him then. Until then I'll have to judge him on his actual merits, which are few.

A renegotiated treaty more in our favor would be delivering in my view.

I'm not a fan of his and I'm sleeping very well.

Still better than the alternative. It's been decades since we've had a president to be proud of.

And yet, many have been accused of "loving Clinton" because they despise trump.

Apparently that knife cuts both ways.

You're probably sleeping well because you don't have a firm grasp on how badly he's failing at every geopolitical move.

Not if he screws it up worse. Given his time in office so far, I have little confidence he'll not do that.

We can what if all day. IF he screws it worse then he owns it, but WHAT IF he improves it? You going to admit it?

I have quite the grasp, thanks. Obama looked like and was treated like a ***** to the rest of the world. He had severely weakened our standing. Other countries could manipulate and "cross lines" at will because he is a *****. It's going to take time to get Americas balls back. Is Trump the right person for that? Too early to intelligently call, you'll say no because you're deliberately irrational. There's still time. Again, we know Clinton/Sanders were a definite no. Trump has a chance. It's going to take time for the world to adjust. You have to keep in mind that our European friends and Canadians to an extent are going through their own regression at the time. They're trying to remain respectable countries while making contradictory decisions such as allowing Middle East culture to run rampant within their countries. They're not used to seeing a country try to remain respectable. There'll be growing pains for countries to adjust to a pres who cares about the US while navigating new territory.

This is true, and it certainly does cut both ways. We are going further and further down the road of the political sides being irreconcilable. Neither side wants to admit that the other side loves America just as much and is doing what they believe is in the best interest of the country, regardless of how much they may disagree with what is best.

He won't.

Trump signs a notice stating our intention to withdraw from NAFTA. Suddenly Mexico and Canada want to renegotiate. Funny how that works.

Let's not let facts get in the way of the twisting and spinning of the idea.

I like a good twist and spin as much as the next guy but some of this is getting old. Trump has given his detractors enough REAL ammunition to use yet they want to nitpick the tiniest details and when that falls flat they just make **** up.
